NEWS Special Meeting for Division One Clubs
Date Thursday 16th September 2010
Season 2010/11 Fixtures for the first 5 weeks of the season have
been now published on the site. (PLEASE NOTE mid-week fixtures during
September). Please note that Warborough and Challow Res have withdrawn
their teams since the AGM.
Public Decency It has been reported that players at several grounds have been urinating at the side of pitches. This practice MUST STOP. Not only is it a criminal offence but is offensive to those whose houses overlook pitches etc. Home clubs are required to ensure that toilet facilities for player and spectators are made available before, during and immediately after the game,
Pitch Markings NBFL management committee are concerned about the increasing fines imposed on clubs who fail to mark lines behind their goals, Your attention is drawn to Rule 10(B) which states "When the playing pitch is not enclosed a white line shall be clearly marked on the ground, a minimum of one yard and a maximum of three yards behind the goal lines extending at least six feet from each side of the goal nets." We have no wish to increase income from clubs breaching this rule and would urge all clubs to implement it's directive.
Corporate Discount As players and referees try and gain fitness for the season please be aware that NBFL have negotiated corporate business rates to Soll Leisure Centres (Faringdon, Wantage and Didcot), for all players and officials. Click here for details.
